Parishioners and staff serve on these ministries that ensure the Parish runs effectively so spiritual and outreach ministries can thrive.
Cemetery & Mausoleum Board
Concerns of the board are layout, maintenance, security, sale of lots, and proper interment of the deceased. St. John the Baptist Cemetery is located on Hwy 261 across from Newburgh Plaza. The mausoleum is located at 5020 Bell Road. The structure contains above ground burial crypts, repository areas for cremation urns and a chapel.
Finance Council
This committee is made up of appointed parishioners with professional financial background. They help in the creation of the yearly budget and assist/advise in financial matters.

Parish pastoral council
A consultative body that makes recommendations to the Pastor on all matters related to the life and mission of the parish community. The Council is particularly concerned with:
- Worshiping God as a Eucharistic family
- Educating, evangelizing, and promoting spiritual formation within the Catholic Church
- Promoting a vibrant and hospitable Catholic community in the Newburgh area
- Serving the needs of our families in body, mind, and spirit
The nomination process is typically conducted annually in the spring and new members are appointed in the summer.
