Haiti Mission

Our Haiti Ministry is excited to offer Professional Family Portraits as a fundraiser to support our Sister Church and other humanitarian needs of the people of Haiti. THESE PHOTOS WILL ALSO BE USED FOR OUR ONLINE DIRECTORY, COMING SOON! The Family Portrait Fundraiser will offer the families of SJB 15 minute “mini-sessions” with our friends from Point Click Photos. Session fees ($60) will be split between the photographers and SJB Haiti Ministry with a 50/50 split.

Dates include: April 16th, 22nd, 23rd, 29th, and 30th. May 6th, 7th, and 20th. Sessions are available from 8:45am-3:45pm each day and there will be 2 locations (indoor and outdoor) for each slot. Select your preferred date, time, and location (indoor or outdoor - scroll down for outdoor) here:

Once you've signed up, please go to the Online Giving tab at www.sjbnewburgh.org to pay in advance. You will receive free digital access to all photos from your session. Photos will be available at https://clients.pointclickphotos.com within 2-3 weeks after your session.

The mission of the Haiti Parish Twinning Program is to serve those in need in Haiti by:

  • encouraging linkages of Catholic parishes, institutions and individuals in the United States and Canada with parishes and institutions in Haiti
  • developing models for parish action
  • encouraging prayerful solidarity with our sisters and brothers in Haiti
  • providing resources and support in religious, educational, medical, and economic areas
  • promoting awareness among Catholics of the injustices present in Haiti and our Gospel call to respond
