Parish Inclement Weather Policy

Following is the St. John the Baptist Parish emergency policy in case of inclement
weather. This policy may also be applied in case of a local emergency, i.e. power
outage etc.

When school is cancelled (Warrick County):
* Daily Mass is cancelled.
* All activities on the parish grounds are suspended, including Adoration, meetings, events, etc.
* Mother Teresa Treasures store is closed.
* If Religious Ed is scheduled that evening, it is also cancelled.
When school is delayed (Warrick County):
* Morning Mass is cancelled.
* The Parish Office opens on a delayed schedule that matches school (one or two hours).
* Activities on the parish grounds (held after the delay) will continue. Adorers are
asked to watch Flocknote for instructions and updates.
* Mother Teresa Treasures store will open at its normal time (10 AM).
Please note:
* If there is inclement weather or an emergency at a time when school is not in session, the pastor will make a decision and the normal channels (Flocknote, Facebook), will be used to notify everyone.
* This policy may also be applied in case of an emergency, such as a power outage. This will be communicated on Facebook and Flocknote.
* Also, please note that weekend Mass will always be held. We ask that you use your  best judgement when coming to Mass. If it is not safe, you can participate via livestream by clicking the link below.
