Of these, 8 were part of the original 39 charter members. The major fund raiser for our Council is the Lenten Fish Fries, which we conduct jointly with the Men's Club of St. John Parish. Gibault School For Boys, in Terre Haute, In. is our major benefactor. The Tootsie Roll Drive ranks second in the amount of money that we raise, and the proceeds from this effort go to help the Mentally Retarded Citizens of our community.
