| Parish Office Volunteers: | ||
| Volunteers answer the phone, welcome visitors and perform basic clerical tasks. Hours and days are flexible. Call the parish office to volunteer. | ||

| This group of dedicated volunteers donates time to the school to assist in student services: library, playground, nursing, cafeteria, popcorn, scouts, speech team, athletics, and more. | ||

| Church Angels: | ||
| The Church Angels dust and clean the church each week. Volunteers are always needed | ||

| Church Sacristans: | ||
| Individuals who care for the sacristy, vestments, linens, vessels and the candles. Appointed by the priest. | ||

| Minister Sacristans: | ||
| Individuals who set-up the vessels for Liturgy and ensure that enough ministers are present for each Mass. Appointed by the priest. | ||

| Ushers: | ||
| This group greets and seats fellow parishioners in church and collects the Sunday donations. Training provided. | ||

| Money Counters : | ||
| Money counters are appointed by the Pastor. They are responsible for counting, sorting and depositing contributions received at the weekend Masses. | ||

| Lectors: | ||
| Lectors proclaim God’s Word to the assembly at weekend liturgies and other liturgical celebrations. They also read the intercessory prayers. Anyone who has a good speaking voice, feels comfortable reading in public, and who values the Word of God may be trained as a lector. | ||

| Greeters: | ||
| Greeters create an atmosphere of welcome by greeting parishioners and guests as they come to weekend Masses. They solicit specific prayer requests from attendees as they enter church. Training provided. | ||

| Eucharistic Ministers: | ||
| Eucharistic Ministers are given the responsibility of aiding the priest in the distribution of Holy Communion during the Mass. Training provided. | ||

| Gift Bearers: | ||
| Individuals and families are asked to present the gifts of bread and wine at the Preparation of Gifts at the weekend liturgies. No special training is necessary. | ||

| Provides musical accompaniment during Masses. Woodwind, brass, strings and percussion are all welcome. | ||

| Church Library: | ||
| Valuable literary resources to strengthen one’s faith are available in the newly established church library located in the Zachary Room of the church. Many books, magazines and videos are available and can be checked out by any parishioner. Parishioners may also donate any religious materials to the library. | ||

| Access the webcam from the parish web page. One can view live a wedding, funeral, summer social, etc., - any activity taking place in the church and a few special events from the parish grounds. European friends have logged in from a distance when they couldn't be present for the occasion. | ||

| Community Recognition: | ||
| Sport activities, employment promotions, personal accomplishments, etc. are clipped from the newspaper and sent with a parish letter of acknowledgement to the homes of parishioners. | ||

| Basic Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Internet classes are offered to parishioners at various times during the year. | ||

| Plans, coordinates and oversees liturgical, environmental and musical elements of the parish. | ||

| Welcome Ministry: | ||
| Catholics and non-Catholics alike are welcomed into our parish boundaries. Welcome Angels provide baked goods or fruit to our new parishioners. Postcards are mailed to neighboring families informing them of the new parishioners in their neighborhood. A Welcome Packet with a multitude of useful information is given to new parishioners. Welcome Sunday is usually held the third Sunday of each month. | ||

| FrameWorksis published four times a year and distributed to all parishioners, college youth and other constituencies of the parish. Articles about the life of the parish are submitted by various committees and organizations. The newsletter also presents a calendar of upcoming events and stewardship notables. | ||

| Mardi Gras Celebration: | ||
| A parish party for the whole family the day before Lent, featuring entertainment, cajun food, parade, throws and the presentation of a Mardi Gras king and queen. Held annually for all of the parish. Mardi Gras is held the day before Ash Wednesday. | ||

| Hospital Visitation: | ||

| T.V. Mass: | ||
| The 8:45 a.m. Mass is videotaped and aired over Sigecom Public Access, Channel 9, at various times throughout the week to serve the sick and homebound. | ||

| Bereavement Support Committee: | ||
| The purpose of this group is to support those who are grieving the loss of a loved one. Phone and written correspondence are integral to this ministry. Members also participate in visiting hospitalized parishioners on Tuesday of each week. The support group meets four times a year. | ||

| Bereavement Meals : | ||
| These meals are offered to the family of any deceased parishioner. The luncheon is held in the lower level of the church immediately following the funeral. Parish volunteers provide a covered dish and serve at the luncheons. | ||

| Food for Fathers : | ||
| Individuals or small groups prepare a hot meal on Monday and Wednesday for our priests. Delivery time - 5:30 p.m. to the priests' residence. Guidelines and scheduling provided. | ||

| Telephone Visitation : | ||
| Individuals extend friendship to parishioners in need - especially those confined to home - by phoning and sharing converstaion. | ||
| Elizabeth Ministry: | ||
| Women who companion other women by their presence, prayer, experience-sharing of childbirth, adoption, infertility, miscarriage, stillbirth and loss of a child. An Elizabeth Minister also delivers a gift bag to the home of those she companions. | ||

| Parish Nursing and Health Ministry: | ||
| Nurses and other health care providers share consultation, referral and educational services with fellow parishioners. Blood pressure screenings are offered after all Masses the first full weekend of each month. Meets every other month on Wednesday evening, 7:00 p.m., the 2nd full week of the month. | ||

| Often individuals are not fully participating in the life of the church because of divorce or remarriage. Phone the Pastor to discuss any issues and/or begin annulment proceedings. | ||

| A married couple meets five times with an engaged couple. Various topics related to marriage are discussed in partial fulfillment of marriage preparation. | ||
