ASERACARE HOSPICE is seeking volunteers to work with terminally ill patients and their families. AserCare Hospice is committed to keeping patients, who wish, to stay at home and provide pain management and symptom control. Volunteers are a vital part of the Hospice Team. They receive fifteen hours of training. This education helps to ensure that each volunteer has the information needed to work with the terminally ill and their families. Volunteers provide emotional support, assist with errands, write letters, read to the patients and much more. If you are interested in volunteering, call AseraCare Hospice at 812-858-1032 or 800-404-0289

Eighteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time
In the Gospel, Jesus says: "There is no need for them to go away; give them some food yourselves," and taking the five loaves and two fish, he blest them and gave them to the disciples to feed the crowd.
This week by putting a gift in the St. Vincent dePaul Poor Box, know that together they will produce gifts a hundred fold. Together we can do something to relieve suffering.
