Note of Thanks . . ."Dear Members of St. John,  Thank you so very much for all the prayers for our granddaughter, Kiersten.  She is already wanting to set up five days after surgery.  She still has a long road to go down, so please keep the prayers going.  It is such a blessing to know all of you and hundreds more are lifting her up in prayer.  That is what keeps all us going and looking at everyday as a blessing.  God Bless all of you!"

Eighteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time

In the Gospel, Jesus says:  "There is no need for them to go away; give them some food yourselves," and taking the five loaves and two fish, he blest them and gave them to the disciples to feed the crowd.

This week by putting a gift in the St. Vincent
dePaul Poor Box, know that together they will  produce gifts a hundred fold.  Together we can  do something to relieve suffering.
