Music brings a special gift and insight into many areas of our life. Clearly, music in a church setting adds to the power of prayer and worship. Those who share their talents as instrumentalists or vocalists take on the distinct role of ministering through the emotional power of music. We are blessed at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish, Newburgh, Indiana, with many who minister to our community throughout the year. We are grateful that Mike Killebrew, our director of music and liturgy, has gathered these gifted music ministers together. Under the choir direction of Terese Larres, these people share some wonderful selections from the entirety of the Church year. May you find your heart lifted to the Lord in praise.
